We came in for a late breakfast on Wednesday so it was not crowded and parking was easy. I think on the weekend though this place gets busy. Lydia helped us and she was very nice. Portions are large and we had quick service. The country potatoes are delicious!
California melt is always 10/10 with sweet potato fries. Service is always great love it here
We came here in between soccer games in Manteca for a tournament my daughter was playing in the weekend of the 3rd/4th. We were kind of short on time, Hostess Sonia & Server Christina took such good care of us. They gave us the best customer service. You don't see employees at restaurants care about the customers quite the same as in years past, especially at chains, so it's honestly just another reason we try and support local businesses. Their corn beef hash was tasty too.
We checked out Frank's for breakfast on the way back home to Sacramento this morning! It's located in a cute little area right in downtown Manteca. The inside is small with a few tables inside and outside with that old school diner feel. We ordered the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito, French Toast and the Downtown Omelette. All the food was very good and were large portions as well! We loved how the chorizo was not greasy and I loved the uniqueness of their coffee options like the Mexican Chocolate Iced Coffee. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. They were hustling around and making sure all of the orders were coming out fast. We will definitely visit the next time we are in town! Check them out!
We moved here in 2019 and have been coming to what we call Uncle Franks cafe ever since. The atmosphere is really inviting and family-oriented. Never will you feel unwelcome or unsafe. Uncle Frank, the owner and occasionally cook, is friendly and respectful to his customers, greeting them whenever possible. My partner enjoys the country fried steak. It's the only thing on my menu he likes, and he orders it every time lol! Their breakfast sandwiches and burritos are both savory and very good. I like to order the omelette and hash browns extra crispy. Uncle Frank's is the best breakfast and lunch spot in Manteca. This cafe is unlike any other.
The food was great! We ordered chicken and waffles and the chorizo scramble (not on the menu but I asked if I could turn the omelet into a scramble) thank you to the staff for accommodating! Both were good but I think I like the chicken and waffles more. I will have to order next time. We also ordered a mimosa and Mexican mocha. Nice to have a sit down restaurant close by. Look forward to visiting again and trying more things on the menu.
